حجب القمر الشمس تماما، الإثنين، فيما بدأ أول كسوف كلي للشمس من الساحل للساحل في الولايات المتحدة منذ قرابة قرن، في غرب ولاية أوريجون.
وتابع ملايين الأميركيين الكسوف، اليوم (21 آب 2017)، من خلال نظارات واقية وأجهزة تلسكوب وكاميرات.
وبعد أسابيع من الانتظار هلل الناس في “ديبو باي” بأوريجون، لمشهد ظل القمر وهو يمر مباشرة أمام الشمس ليحجبها تماما باستثناء هالتها.
